okok it makes perfect sense

Ok this is how I interpreted it before reading the desc:

The creatures of flesh, the lower, reptilian beings that live off their survival instinct live blindly and in fear of the world. But when they die, they still return to the same place as any other living thing because they are made up of the same metaria that every other living thing is made up of. It made sense to me.

after reading the description:

ok, here is the bit on the light. The light can only be haluscinated by the eyes, you dont actually see it because its not really there. You perceive it, with your higher senses that are normally dimmed by the brain, which, upon death, ceases to function.

What would a blind person see? They would too, see light. The blind people that have developed their higher senses CAN and DO see things without their eyes. In fact, the scientists who study this have got certain blind people to the point of being able to watch television. Sure, blind people cant discern objects in the way we do, but they can still sense it which is just another way of seeing once its developed, things are just more formless in that place, but you know what... because of this, maybe they can actually see better than us because they are not ever subjected to the illusion of reality that everyone else is so easily fooled by.

Its kind of like asking, if you give a blind person LSD, would they see things? The answer is no, their eyes cannot detect anything... strictly in the material vision that we are accustomed to. But do dying people/near death people see the light with their eyes? No, they do not... because there is no material light forming in front of their eyes before they die.

Thanks for the fantastic review. You bring up sereval valid points, such as instinct and its connections to blindness, and "vision beyond vision", with even the blind producing images that they can see. But then we come full circle - what experience would they have when they die? And then once again we return to your points - would their concept of light be completely different from our own? Confusing stuff but it's fun to think about! Good stuff my friend. Thanks again.

Its funny... Iv been thinking about this sort of thing too, reading peoples thoughts and what not.

Here is a couple of coincidencees.

Sometimes I'll walk past someone when they are talking to me, especially when Im doing something routine like going to a bus stop or taking out the garbage and what not.

I also read a astral projection story where a guy met a bunch of dead people in the realm of the dead and ran from them.

Another thing, yeah, sometimes when your running or going somewhere, I like to just stop and realize that everything is moving without me.. to kind of just stop.

THe kid with the cd player, I had a cd player that I listened to compulsively and it was a birthday present.

At one point I imagined a dragon or monster that would be always trippin on acid and it would spit acid on people and make them trip.

Judging from first hand experience, acid is bad for you, no matter how you look at it. Hippies will tell you anything to rationalize it, but frying just isnt normal or healthy. Stick to weed.

Oh and the channeling thoughts and reading thoughts seems to happen all too often these days. I actually get pissed off, some people think they know too much about me, motherfuckers.. anyway.

In those king arthur stories there was a hanging tree, and of all the things in those stories, the tree made me go "wtf?!" each time.

And yeah, everyone needs to play pong while the shit is loading. Of all the things that happens in preloaders like dressupgames and stupid animations, pong stands out most for some reason.
